Rumor – According to a report released by Windows Central and corroborated by Eurogamer sources , Hitman developer IO Interactive has partnered with Xbox Game Studios to develop a new Xbox-exclusive AAA IP.

As reported, this is a medieval-themed game involving dragons, it is in the beginning of development and will still take a few years to be released.
This unannounced project had already been mentioned earlier this month by the developer, when CEO Hakan Abrak told IGN that they were “working on something completely new, a new IP”. They even opened a new studio in Barcelona (via GamesIndustry ), in part to work on this unannounced game.
Apparently the new game will be developed by a separate team, while the other teams at IO Interactive will continue to work on updates for Hitman 3 and Project 007, which is the new James Bond game.
