Rumores – Developer Remedy is working on Alan Wake 2, apparently thanks to the distribution deal struck with Epic Games last year, which involves releasing two projects.

The information was disclosed by journalist Jeff Grubb, from the Venturebeat website, in a broadcast on Twitch where he says that Alan Wake 2 is one of the games financed by Epic Games.

Grubb also said that this meant a change in Epic’s strategy, which started to fund new projects from scratch, instead of buying exclusivity for projects already announced.

Remedy has yet to comment on the matter, but fans are certainly hoping this rumor is true as they are looking forward to an Alan Wake sequel. The original game was released in 2010 for Xbox 360 and then won a spin-off called Alan Wake’s American Nightmare in 2012.
