Russians bomb TV tower in Kiev

The Russian army hit a nearly 400-meter high TV tower in Kiev during an air strike on Tuesday. At least five people were said to have been killed in the bombing, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

Television and radio broadcasts from the state broadcaster were canceled. Several channels were quickly restored, it is reported.

Images show that the television tower in Kiev is hit at least twice by bombings. Yet the mast is still standing.

Near the tower is a Holocaust memorial. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the attack by the Russians barbaric.
