Sam Claflin praises new Hunger Games film and comments on the performances

Recently, actor Sam Claflin commented on his impressions of the new film in the “Hunger Games” saga, called A Song of Birds and Snakes.

Claflin is known for his roles in “Me Before You” and “It Just Happens.” In the main Hunger Games saga, he played Finnick Odair. In an interview with MTV, he commented on the performances of his actors and actresses in the saga: “Rachel Zegler is absolutely incredible as Lucy Gray… I saw it, and, you know, I was very impressed. Francis Lawrence (director) is one of my favorite filmmakers and a wonderful human being. And Tom Blyth also gave an equally impressive performance.”stated Sam.

The first work in the new sequence managed to surpass US$320 million at the worldwide box office. The film surpassed the box office totals of “Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom”, “Dungeous And Dragons: Honor Among Rebels”, “The Marvels”, “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” and “Blue Beetle”.

The work spent two weeks at the top of the North American box office, leaving behind “Napoleão” and “Wish”.

Sam Claflin's career

The British actor began his career in 2010, when he participated in a TV miniseries, “The Pillars of the Earth”, as the character Richard. The following year, Sam acted in theaters in “Pirates of the Caribbean”. In 2013, Claflin participated in the sagas “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”, “The Quiet Ones, Overdrive” and “Belle”. In 2014, he made the film “It Just Happens” alongside Lily Collins and in 2016, he released the film based on the book, “The Way I Was Before You”, as Will Traynor, alongside Emilia Clarke.

The new Hunger Games

“The Hunger Games: A Song of Birds and Snakes”, tells a story that precedes the famous trilogy of books by Suzane Collins. The new work takes place 64 years before the release of the film, “The Hunger Games”, which tells the story of Katniss Everdeen.
