The variety of styles doesn't stop there. The lineup includes Taty Girl, known for her romantic forró, and the Banda Magnifiques, synonymous with June festivals. Other unmissable performances include Lucy Alves, Ananda Paixão, Roberto Ricci and Fabrícia, who will help create a festive and multicultural atmosphere.

Unprecedented cultural encounters

In addition to musical performances, São João da Thay is also characterized by authentic cultural events. This year, the festival will feature an unprecedented encounter between Bumba Meu Boi, a tradition from Maranhão, and Boi Garantido from the Parintins Festival, Amazonas.
Local cultural groups will also have their own space, bringing traditional dances and rhythms to enrich the program. Among them are the Boi by Nina Rodrigues, the Cacuriá by Dona Teté, the Tambor de Crioula Mestre Leonardo and the Portuguese Dance Majestade by Rosário. The objective of these presentations is to pay a true tribute to the cultural roots of Maranhão.

This year's event will be held on the 7th and 8th of June, with a rich and varied program that promises to delight an audience of around 30,000 people.
