See how the collectives will work at Virada Cultural in São Paulo

This weekend, Virada Cultural 2023 takes place in São Paulo, on the 27th and 28th of May. There will be more than 500 free attractions that will be presented on stages distributed throughout all regions of the capital of São Paulo.

As an exception, to serve the public, the Secretariat for Metropolitan Transport announced that Anhangabaú and São Bento stations, Line 3-Red and Line 1-Blue, will be operating normally 24 hours a day this weekend, for entry and exit of passengers .

The other stations will only operate the exit within standard hours (between 00:00 and 04:40). For those who are inside the metro system, transfer to other lines happens normally.

Stations such as São Miguel Paulista and José Bonifácio, on CPTM lines 12-Safira and 11-Coral, will remain open for boarding and disembarking. The other stations will be open for disembarking, in the same subway pattern.

There will also be reinforcement in the bus lines: there will be 150 of the Nocturno, operating during the night. In addition, 52 lines that serve ten stages in the city will have their itineraries or points changed, according to information from the municipal administration.

Investment in security was also made, in partnership with the state government and by hiring private security guards.

Virada Cultural Program

There will be programming 24 hours a day in Vale do Anhangabaú, the other stages for 10 pm on Saturday (27) and return at 10 am on Sunday (28). For the little ones, the “Viradinha” takes place in all the arenas, from 9 am to 12 pm on Sundays, with children’s activities.

The municipal administration invested BRL 40 million in the so-called “Virada Cultural do Pertencimento”, which will have 12 arenas throughout the city.

North Zone – stages in Brasilândia and Parada Inglesa;

Center – stages in the Anhangabaú Valley and surroundings;

West Zone – stages in Butantã;

East Zone – stages in Itaquera, Tiradentes and São Miguel Paulista;

South Zone – Campo Limpo, M’Boi Mirim, Parelheiros, Heliópolis and Capela do Socorro stages.
