Shakira and Bizarrap win Best Pop Song

It's today! Today marks the 24th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards, which will be held live from Seville, Spain, for the first time. This is the first time in the history of the awards ceremony that it is being held outside the United States. For the first year, Latin America's most important awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Canal BIS and on Globoplay, which is open to non-subscribers, starting at 10:30 p.m. Brasília time.

Shakira wins best pop song composition category

Colombian singer Shakira received the Golden Gramophone, a Grammy, for best pop song composition. The award-winning song was BZRP Music Sessions n.53. The song, when it was released, quickly became famous because its lyrics deal with betrayal and a breakup with her then-husband, Gerald Piquet. That night, Shakira is present at the ceremony accompanied by her two children and her ex-husband, Piquet. When accepting the awards, she thanked her audience in general, but highlighted her Latin fans. She is also nominated for other categories that night, including record of the year. She will perform live later that night.
