Shocking Revelation About Childhood Abuse

In an interview given to Globo Newspaperactress and presenter, Fernanda Paes Lemesaid she was a victim of abuse as a child. The presenter of Who Can, Podrevealed about her previous experiences and how much it reflected on her personal and professional life

The 40-year-old actress revealed that when she was around 6 or 7 years old, she suffered abuse, the case has only been revealed now and that she would not go into details, as she does not feel ready to talk. It was heavy and very strong, it lasted a long time. She also said that the abuse came from someone close to the family and that her mother has no idea what happened and would never blame her, but this shows how important it is to talk to children.

In another part of the interview, Fernanda said that her characteristics of being angry and rude happened right after this terrible abuse and that being reactive with men comes from there.

Fernanda also revealed that what happened came back to her in 2017, when she was running a campaign #MeTooat that time, she had a feeling of déjà-vu and remembered the moments she spent in her childhood, such as: the smell of the place, the clothes she was wearing, the pillowcase, it was an episode that was always with her and left her marks that he never forgot, but erased from his memory when he lost his virginity, he said.

During the interview, she also spoke about her grief for having had a miscarriage at the end of 2021. The following month, she took a pregnancy test and discovered that she was three or four weeks pregnant. The couple were happy with the news and days later Fernanda had a bleed and lost the baby.
