Model Emily Ratajkowski has a new book, “My Body,” coming out on November 9. In it, Emily recounts moments from her childhood, where for as long as she can remember, her family has always cared a lot about her appearance, in addition to going through experiences where she was sexualized from a very young age. “I tried to assess where my parents thought I belonged in the world of beauty. It seemed important to both of them, especially my mother, that their daughter be seen as beautiful. Beauty was a way for me to be special. When I was special, I felt my parents’ love for me more.”he recalled.

She understood that being a model would be another way to please her parents when an agent offered her a job when she was 14. While arousing male desire had already influenced her life since she was 12. “I’ll never forget the look on your face when you walked past him!”her mother Kathy would say as they passed men on the street. “He stopped walking and his jaw dropped!”reveals. “I was a child, but somehow I was already an expert at detecting male desire, even if I didn’t fully understand what to do with it.”wrote Emily.
