Shocking revelations about Jimmy Fallon's behavior behind the scenes of The Tonight Show shock fans

This Thursday (07), an article published by Rolling Stone magazine brought a series of accusations from employees and former employees of the American TV show “The Tonight Show”, about the erratic behavior of its host Jimmy Fallon during the backstage recordings.

The article stated that 14 former members of Fallon's team and two employees who still participate in the program alleged that the presenter's unstable behavior contributed to a toxic and unhealthy work environment, in addition to allegations of an alleged problem with alcoholic beverages.

NBC published a note about the workers' accusations saying:

“We are incredibly proud of the Tonight Show and providing a respectful work environment is a top priority. As in any workplace, we have had employees raise concerns; these matters were investigated and action was taken where appropriate.”

A day after the statement, on Friday (08), an NBC Universal spokesperson confirmed that the presenter and the program were not under investigation because the allegations contained in the article were old and had already been resolved by the company.

Program had a drop in audience in 2017

Jimmy Fallon spoke out about the case and apologized to his team during a virtual meeting on Thursday. “If I have ever treated someone badly or made you feel bad, that was not my goal.”said the communicator, according to a report from one of the members present at the meeting. “I want this show to be fun. It must be inclusive for everyone. It must be funny. It must be the best program, with the best people. I just wanted to say I miss you guys.”

“The Tonight Show” has been on hold without airing new episodes for more than four months due to the writers' strike. Fallon took charge of the program in 2014 and achieved high ratings for his humorous and relaxed approach.
