Shots were fired Sunday evening in the Villeray, Saint Michel Parc extension borough, while other shots were reported in separate events in the Montréal-Nord borough.

Two suspicious vehicles allegedly fired shots around 7 p.m. at the intersection of 42nd Street and 25th Avenue before fleeing, said Caroline Chèvrefils, spokeswoman for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

No suspects or victims were located by police at the scene, but shell casings were found on the ground and a projectile impact was seen on a fence.
