The newspaper “Folha de São Paulo” reported this Wednesday (21) that Sílvio Santos has declared assets of 3.9 billion. According to the publication, the data was based on a survey carried out since June in notary offices in São Paulo, the Commercial Board and the Federal Revenue Service. One of the biggest names in Brazilian communication, the presenter passed away at the age of 93, last Saturday (17).

The Abravanel family has not released details about the division of assets. However, the information is that the transition process and the succession of companies has already begun and is proceeding smoothly. Around 35 companies are part of the Silvio Santos Group's assets, the largest of which is the SBT television network.

The presenter's daughter, Cíntia Abravanel, stated in an interview with the website “F5”, in July of this year, that the process of dividing the presenter's assets had been going on for some time.My father has already shared part of the inheritance, and I think it's important. He's having the opportunity to see what we're achieving with the things he built. I think it's very smart of him to be able to follow all of this. None of it would be worth it if he wasn't here anymore.”, he declared.

Silvio Santos left Brazilian media in mourning

A victim of bronchopneumonia, after an infection with influenza A (H1N1), Silvio passed away last Saturday (17), in São Paulo, and left the entire country in mourning. The communicator's story is intertwined with the history of Brazilian television, as he was one of the pioneers of television entertainment. The son of Jewish immigrants, Silvio was born in Rio de Janeiro. He worked as a street vendor, but it was on the radio that he discovered his calling: communication. He debuted on television in the 1960s, where he remained for decades, only stepping away from activities in 2022, when he hosted the Silvio Santos program for the last time.
