Simone Ashley and Fiennes Tiffin star in new Prime Video romantic comedy

This Friday (22) Variety magazine published an article about the new romantic comedy film on the Prime Video streaming platform: “Picture This”. The film will star Simone Ashley (“Bridgerton”) and Fiennes Tiffin (“After”). The film's story is based on the original Australian film, “Five Chances to Be Happy”, also from Prime Video, written by Shaung Hu and Nathan Ramos-Park. The story of the film

The film tells the story of Pia (Simone Ashley), a single woman who runs a bankrupt photography studio in London with her best friend, Jay (Luke Fetherston) and after some heartbreaks, has given up on finding true love. Meanwhile, her sister Sonal (Anoushka Chadha) is preparing for her wedding, and their mother, Laxmi (Sindhu Vee), encourages Pia to consult a spiritual guru at Sonal's engagement party.

What to expect from “Picture This”

In an interview with Variety magazine, Tara Erer, head of originals for Northern Europe, Prime Video, informed that she is excited about the new project. “We are very excited to bring you this new and original romantic comedy set in London (…). 'Picture This' has a fantastic cast, with the wonderful Simone Ashley and Hero Fiennes Tiffin as the protagonists, as well as a brilliant film crew, we know that our audience will love and laugh a lot with this film.“, he declared.

The film is directed by Prarthana Mohan (“The Miseducation of Bindu”) and written by Nikita Lalwani (“The Outlaws”). In addition to the stars of “Bridgerton” and “After”, the cast also features big names in acting, such as Phil Dunster (“Ted Lasso”), Nikesh Patel (“London Has Fallen”), Adil Ray (“Citizen Khan”) , Sindhu Vee (“Matilda: The Musical”), Anoushka Chadha (“You”), Kulvinder Ghir (“Bend It Like Beckham”) and Luke Fetherston (“Still Up”).
