Simone Mendes' ex-brother-in-law exposes conflicting relationship with his mother in book

The former brother-in-law of Simone Mendesfrom the former duo with his sister Simaria, Vicente Escrig, stated in a book that the artist's relationship with her mother is conflictual, caused by an abusive relationship. An excerpt from the book was released by the journalist Leo Dias this Thursday (13) and generated repercussions from country fans and internet users.

Vicente refers to Simaria with the code name “Rodolfa” in “Until lies do us part”, and says that the matriarch, Marabehaves in a narcissistic way. According to the businessman, he was present on an occasion in which Mara used words such as “ugly” and “fat” to her daughter in front of other people in the family who did not intervene in the situation.

The mother also constantly stated that Simone's sister, Simaria, was her favorite daughter, according to Escrig.

Mother's aggression against Simone Mendes

After the controversy, a video of an interview with the singer circulated around the Internet. Simone Mendes says on the program “Faustão in the Band” that unlike her mother, she is against hitting her children, Henry and Zaya. The Bahian woman explained that she began to understand the matriarch's motives when she understood Mara's childhood and youth.

“I had very good parents, but unfortunately, my mother gave what she got. My mother's parents were very angry, rude to her. Then, she repeated actions”, he reported. She also explained her love for her mother, but claimed that the wounds had consequences. “In my adulthood, I understood that the beatings hurt me”, he analyzed.

Vicente also said that he noticed similar attitudes from his ex-wife, Simaria, towards his heirs, Giovanna10 years old, and Pawelof seven.

Spanish Vicente Escrig and Simaria Mendes were together for 14 years, but ended their marriage in August 2021. The singer said that the end of the relationship happened because she no longer saw the same qualities that she previously saw in her husband.
