Sinead O' Dwyver makes Copenhagen Fashion Week debut

London-based fashion designer Sinead O'Dwyer made her debut this year Copenhagen Fashion Week. The designer who has already shown that she works with accessibility and inclusion in her creations, has now raised her profile in the Danish capital, in part thanks to The Opera Park of the city, where the parade was held.

Sinéad O'Dwyer is best known for her work challenging traditional beauty standards and promoting body inclusivity. Originally from Ireland, O'Dwyer studied at the Royal College of Art in London, where she focused on fashion and textile design. She was notable for her graduate collection, which showcased a variety of body types, pushing aside a narrow definition and standard of beauty.

This season’s debut was no different. The designer’s presentation featured her usual cast of models of all sizes, and to draw attention, a blind model and her guide dog walked the runway, captivating the audience and opening up opportunities. Surprisingly, she may have been the first guide dog to appear on a fashion week runway.
