Singer Dua Lipa promises to return to Brazil

British singer Dua Lipa makes good on her promise and sets a return to Brazil early next year. Dua Lipa gave a historic performance at the last edition of Rock in Rio while promoting her acclaimed album “Future Nostalgia”. The singer said she loved Brazil and promised her fans that she would come back and perform here again.

Journalist José Norberto Flesh, known for promoting shows, events and news about the artistic world, informed the public that Dua Lipa will perform at a festival in Brazil early next year, in addition to doing a solo show. The singer is currently promoting her newest album “Radical Optimism”, released in May of this year.

The singer also gave an interview to Fantástico in February of this year, in which she spoke about her love and admiration for Brazil and the Brazilian public. According to the singer, “Any excuse I have to go to Brazil, I will. Brazil has a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to go back.”. With the festival and the solo show, which should take place between February and March next year, Dua Lipa fulfills her promise.

“Radical Optimism”

Dua Lipa's arrival in Brazil comes as the singer promotes her latest album, “Radical Optimism”. Renowned in the dance/pop genre, Dua Lipa had generated great expectations among fans and critics for her third album after the huge commercial and critical success of “Future Nostalgia”. However, opinions about the singer's new album are divergent, with a large division between satisfied fans and fans who expected more. Specialized critics also did not receive the album very well, such as Rolling Stone UK and Pitchfork, who claimed that the new album seemed to have stifled the singer's potential that was shown in the previous release.
