Singer Maraísa suffers accident in resort pool and breaks her nose

This Tuesday (16), country singer Maraísa, Maiara's sister, with whom she has a duo, suffered an accident in one of the pools at the Reserva do Patacho resort, in Porto das Pedras – Alagoas. The information was confirmed by the artist's press office, to the Quem portal. The spokesperson also informed the portal that the singer was treated by the resort's medical team, who provided first aid and sent her to the hospital shortly after the incident.

“Late yesterday afternoon, January 16th, Maraísa, Maiara's duo, suffered an incident at the resort where she was staying (Reserva do Patacho – Porto de Pedras/AL), she was taken to a hospital in Maceió/AL, where she was promptly attended to and is doing well. The duo's show schedule continues normally”informed the artist's team to the Quem portal. The singer was discharged and is doing well.

About the accident

Guests who were in the same place as Maraísa also spoke to the Quem news portal. They said that the singer hit her head in the pool, which caused the cut. However, with the urgent care she received from the resort's own doctors, she appeared to be fine. Despite what happened, the singer's team did not provide further details about the incident at that time, and stated that the duo's concert schedule remains unchanged.
