Singer Simony shares details of bowel cancer treatment with her followers

On Wednesday this week (3), the singer revealed that she had discovered bowel cancer, after undergoing a colonoscopy to investigate a lump that had appeared in her groin. Simony, who is currently hospitalized, undergoing her first chemotherapy sessions, posted a video on her social media asking her fans not to worry.

“I've never gotten into a fight and not come out on top. Never, I'm really strong. I'm really excited to start this chemo.” She said in the video.

Simony also revealed that she is using a cold cap to prevent her hair from falling out during chemotherapy sessions, “It helps 50% of hair loss, it will help a lot. It's frozen, people” He commented.

According to Simony, she has always had constipation, since childhood, but she claims that she felt a “heavy sensation” in the intestinal region, which did not empty even after she went to the bathroom, the symptoms of cancer began to appear after the appearance of the lump.

“The lumps that appeared and hurt a lot were what really saved me, because they were a sign that something in my body wasn’t right.” Affirms.

Simony says that the first thing she did was to see a gynecologist. She explains that she did all the women's health exams that must be done annually. According to her, after a visit to a proctologist to do a colonoscopy, the doctor immediately ordered Simony to do a biopsy, which ended up revealing bowel cancer. She also revealed that she is already expected to be discharged, after doing the third chemotherapy, and thanked her fans for their support.
