Sony announces first games to be playable with PlayStation Plus – Sony has announced a list of games that people can play if they purchase a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscription. Twelve PlayStation 5 titles have been announced for the service, including Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, Demon’s Souls and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

PlayStation Plus will be renewed from June 22. Sony’s subscription service gets different levels. The two most expensive variants (Extra and Premium) offer members access to a library of games for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

That list of games has four hundred titles, but not all games have been announced yet. Here are all the PS5 games in the list:

The list also includes games that have already appeared on the PlayStation 4. These can be downloaded with the subscription at no extra cost on the PS4 and PS5. These include Bloodborne, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Premium offers classics and demos

The most expensive PlayStation Plus subscription also offers access to classic games. These are games that appeared for the PS1, PS2 and PS3.

Some titles for the handheld PSP will also be added. In the list of classics are titles such as Syphon Filter, Tekken 2, Ico and Infamous.

With a Premium subscription, members also get access to demos of new games. Those can be played for up to two hours, after which people can buy the full game.

Progress in the trials will then carry over to the full game. For now, Sony has announced demo versions of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Horizon Forbidden West, Cyberpunk 2077, Farming Simulator 22, Tiny Tina’s Wonderland and WWE 2K22.

The new PlayStation Plus subscriptions are distributed as follows:

PlayStation Plus Essential (€8.99 per month/€60 per year): access to online multiplayer, discounts on the PS Store and access to two PS4 games and a PS5 game every month.
PlayStation Plus Extra: (€13.99 per month/€99.99 per year): everything from Essential plus access to a catalogue of hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games for download.
PlayStation Plus Premium: (16.99 euros per month/119.99 euros per year): everything from the other subscriptions plus game demos and access to streaming service with classic PlayStation games.
