SUMMER SEASON ANIMES – 46 NEW TITLES WILL DEBUT ON CRUNCHYROLL THIS SEASON – One year is ending and another is beginning, and along with this beginning of the year comes the new summer anime season in Japan.

The distributor of anime in the west, Crunchyroll has already made a point of preparing a complete list of all the novelties that will arrive in its catalog in the coming months.

In all, there will be 46 titles coming to the platform starting this week, and we will have some of the most anticipated episodes debuting in the meantime as well. Especially for One Piece , My Hero Academia and Boruto: Naruto Next Generation.

Among the big premieres of this season will be NieR: Automata Ver1.1a and Trigun Stampede , arriving on January 7th. (SUMMER SEASON ANIMES)

The first is an adaptation of the famous Square Enix game about a war between androids and machines. And the 2nd is a reimagining of the 1998 classic, which follows the legendary pacifist sniper, who is wanted with a high bounty. It is worth mentioning that the two are expected to receive dubbing by Crunchyroll as well.

Already among the anime returns in progress, we have Iruma-kun, To Your Eternity and Blue Lock continuing their releases. The first two were already predicted to have two cours, but Blue Lock was a surprise for the producers, and only continued with a new season due to the performance of the Japanese team in the World Cup in Qatar.

Among the expected returns, the highlight is the 2nd season of Vinland Saga, which premieres on January 9th. The anime presents us with a barbaric Nordic world, full of Vikings and with a protagonist in search of complicated revenge.

We will also have the return of some anime with overpower protagonists that fans love, such as The Fruit of Evolution, By the Grace of the Gods, The Misfit of Demon King Academy and one of the most anticipated of all: BOFURI. Yes, defender Kanade’s anime will have new episodes this season.

Lastly, Crunchyroll will also release the third season of Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac – Battle for Sanctuary, the controversial 3D remake of Knights of the Zodiac. These new episodes will be even more interesting as even with the changes in story and character concepts, it will adapt the famous arc of the Twelve Houses! But unfortunately it will have almost the entire cast of voice actors changed.
