The minister responsible for the decision declared the presence of Tatá and Cauã not mandatory. “I grant the order of habeas corpus, to eliminate the compulsory appearance, transforming it into an option, leaving the patient to decide whether or not to appear before the Chamber of Deputies, before the aforementioned Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPI), to be heard as an investigator”he stated.

About the subpoena
The pair of actors had been summoned to give testimony at the CPI to talk about the company involved in schemes, Quantum Atlasbecause they have already advertised the company's services. This company is accused of using a “miracle robot” to attract the attention of investors. The crime claimed thousands of victims across the country and is responsible for an estimated loss of R$7 billion.
In addition to Tatá and Cauã, other personalities such as Ronaldinho Gaucho, Marcelo Tas and the president of the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation), Ednaldo Rodrigues Gomeswere also summoned to appear at the same CPI hearing, including the company's founders.
Four years ago, the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) had announced that the company was prohibited from offering investments related to the appreciation of cryptocurrencies. The body clarified that Atlas Quantum did not submit the applications it closed to the CVM, thus acting illegally.
