Susana Vieira talks about her ex-husbands: “They were terrible”

Last Tuesday (17), Susana Vieira gave an interview to the program “Casa Feliz”, on the Portuguese channel SIC, to announce the arrival of her monologue “Uma Shirley Qualquer”, which will be released in several Portuguese cities in the coming days. In the conversation, the 79-year-old actress — with a 60-year career — spoke about negative romantic experiences she had during her life.

In the interview, when asked about her biography, called “In the service of life”, Susana indirectly made statements about her love history.I'll say everything, but without naming names. I'm afraid of being censored or sued. But I won't say horrible things. I won't say the names of my husbands, but they were terrible, almost all of them.”. Among Susana's five ex-husbands are director Régis Cardoso, father of her only son, Rodrigo; businessman Carson Gardeazabal, with whom she was married for almost 30 years; former police officer Marcelo Silva; and actor and magician Sandro Pedroso.

“I don't know if it's the Brazilian man, I don't know if it was me. I don't know if they came after Susana Vieira thinking that I have a full coffer. I just know that I had a lot of problems. I wasn't traumatized by anything. I send them away, but it takes time because it's hard to get a man out of the house.“, declares the actress

Celebrating 60 years of career, Susana also told us who her best partners on television were. “I've kissed a lot and my best partners were Tony Ramos and José Wilker. TV was more daring and today we do everything on eggshells.”, he said.

About her work, the monologue “Any Shirley” tells the story of a lonely woman who, despite being married, is rarely spoken to by her husband and her children pay little attention to her. In this scenario, the walls of the apartment become her confidants.
