Taylor Swift releases remix of collaboration with Post Malone

You swifties didn't expect it! On Tuesday night (21), Taylor Swift surprised fans with the release of the official remix of “Fortnight”. Produced by Canadian Blond:ish, the new version brings an electropop style to the track. “Fortnight” is the first single from the singer's latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department”, and features rapper Post Malone.

After completing one month of the premiere of “The Tortured Poets Department”, Last Sunday (19), Taylor Swift's team published the following message on social media: “The blonde just dropped the #FORTNIGHTBLONDISHRemix and it’s such “you’re in the club” vibes.” The blonde's fans quickly reacted to the new version of the song and recorded their experience in the comments section. A user of the X platform, who had the tweet answered by Taylor Nation, joked: “It’s going to make us cry a lot in the clubs!”

With a different proposal from the original song, which has a more melancholic melody, the remix of “Fortnight” shows a more electronic and danceable feel with Blond:ish's signature. The Canadian also posted a promo for the remix on her social media profile.

Album reception

A best-selling hit, Swift's 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department”, today occupies the first place on the Billboard Hot 200 for the fourth week in a row. Including the promotional single “Fortnight”, The tracklist has a total of 31 tracks. However, by the blonde's choice, the album was divided into two parts. The first has 16 songs, and the second was released a few hours later, with 15 additional songs.

The artist is currently abroad continuing her tour. “The Eras”, which passed through Brazil in November last year in the cities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
