“The Night Agent” begins recording the second season

Released this Monday (05) by Netflix on its Instagram, and on other media platforms, the recording of “O Agente Noturno” began for its second season. The series had enormous success the previous year on the streaming platform, reaching 812 million hours watched, leaving behind “Ginny and Georgia” with 665 million hours watched.

Entered the Netflix rankings

With numbers that exalt the production in the platform's ranking, where it shares space among the ten most popular English-language series in Netflix's history, the series reached 98.2 million streams in the first three months. In the competition, it was behind “Wandinha”, “Stranger Things”, “Dahmer”, “Bridgerton” and “O Gambito da Rainha”, all in their most successful seasons.

New cast members

With the same number of episodes as the last season, now with a total of 20, the series is based on the routine of a police agent. FBI, starring Gabriel Basso, where the character Peter is involved in secret espionage actions in the White House. There is the arrival of new members with performances by Arienne Mandi, Berto Colon, Brittany Snow, Louis Herthum and Teddy Sears.

Arianne will play an Iranian advisor, under the name Noor. Cólon will play a former marine, Salomon. As Peter's partner on his first mission, Brittany gives life to Alice. Louis will be an international businessman, playing Jacob, in which he is responsible for searching for important information. Teddy will be an FBI investigator, and will play Warren.

The production is based on the book by Matthew Quirk, which does not have a sequel. Thus, giving a completely original story in the second season of the series.
