Toni Kroos renews contract until June 2024

Kroos, 33 years old, declined this season, mainly with the departure of Casemiro, to Manchester United. The German scored only two goals and distributed six assists, but he is an important part of the tactical scheme of coach Carlo Ancelotti, a fundamental character for Kroos to remain at Real Madrid. Ancelotti commented at a press conference: “If he decides to stay, we will all be very happy.”

Hired by Real Madrid in 2014, a few days after winning the World Cup in Brazil, the German is about to start his tenth season at the Spanish club. A cycle of many achievements, among the main ones, he won the Champions League four times, the Club World Cup five times and three seasons in the Spanish Championship. In March of this year, Kroos reached the mark of 400 appearances for Real Madrid.
