This Sunday (03) the 64th edition of the Grammy 2022 event will take place in the United States. The awards ceremony would take place on January 31, but there was an increase in COVID-19 cases at the time.
The 2022 Grammys already have the bets for the main categories of the awards, and the nominations are dividing critics about the winner of the gramophone in the Album of the Year category.
However, the American website Variety pointed out that the album “Love For Sale”, created by the duo Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, will take the top spot at the ceremony. Meanwhile, Billboard and Pitchfork have named singer Olivia Rodrigo as the favorite for the category, with the success of her debut album, “SOUR”.
The big event has 86 categories and some performances have been confirmed such as Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow, Olivia Rodrigo, BTS, Brothers Osborne, Jon Batiste, HER, Nas and Chris Stapleton, among others.
However, there were some who disagreed with the situation involving 19-year-old singer Olivia Rodrigo being the favorite to win the Album of the Year award. In fact, the singer remains unanimous among Billboard, Pitchfork and Variety and is the favorite to be awarded in the categories of New Artist and Record of the Year.

The duo Bennett and Lady Gaga received five nominations in this edition for their second collaborative album, 'Love for Sale'singer Tony Bennett is currently 95 years old and lives with Alzheimer's disease.
