Last Saturday (12) the first edition of the GP Week festival took place, provided by GP do Brasil, a sporting event that also takes place this weekend.
The event took place at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, with a show by the Brazilian band Fresno, who opened the day of shows, playing for the first time in a stadium. The band's show brought together their biggest hits, such as Quebre as Correntes and Natureza Caos, leaving fans happy and emotional.
Then the pop punk band The Band Camino entertained the audience who arrived very early at Allianz, with the drummer wearing a Palmeiras t-shirt and the presence of Brazilian guitarist Mateus Sato.

Hot Chip was the third show of the night, getting the audience dancing with their super lively and infectious hits, ending the daytime performances of the festival.
The famous duo Twenty One Pilots, led by Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, certainly went down in history as one of the most lively and exciting shows of the day. The band put on a breathtaking spectacle for the crowd watching them, with cell phone flashlight choreography in 'Mulberry Street”, the climb by Tyler (the vocalist) who climbed the entire structure of the event's house mix during the song Car Radio , also singing a large part of 'Stressed Out' and bringing the audience into complete excitement.

Tyler and Josh communicated throughout the show with the audience, risking words in Portuguese and coming down from the stage several times to greet the audience. Receiving an ovation at the end of 'Chlorine', they ended the show with the hit 'Heathens', leaving the audience impressed with the grandeur of the performance that both were able to provide.
Closing with a flourish, The Killers took the stage at 9:40 pm with Brandon Flowers, the band's lead singer, extremely excited and communicative, even taking a chance on Portuguese when he asked: “did you forget about us?” hearing a resounding “no” in response.
The band sang their biggest hits, such as “Somebody Told Me”, “Human” “Mr. Brightside” and “Human”, the latter being one of the most exciting moments of the show.

During one of the songs, a fan who was in the audience asked to go up on stage and play drums with the band, a request made by Brandon who invited him up and he impressively played the classic “For Reasons Unknon”, while being applauded. by the public that filled the stadium.
Becoming a success with the public, the GP Week Festival has everything to receive new editions in the coming years, bringing bands loved by the public who are excited to watch their favorite artists after so long of restrictions due to the pandemic.
