TWICE releases preview of new music video and announces new album “Dive”

TWICE, one of the most famous K-pop girl groups, is about to release their new studio album, titled “Dive”. The announcement was made this Wednesday (03), on the group's YouTube account, dedicated to the Japanese public. A trailer with a mystical vibe was made available to fans. The new production is scheduled to premiere on July 17th.

Japanese market

K-pop group TWICE is about to release their fifth album dedicated exclusively to the Japanese market. The scheduled date is next Wednesday, July 17th. The album will be sung entirely in Japanese and will have 10 tracks. The DVD version (limited) will have other products, such as clips, making of and photo essays.

“Dive” also received a presentation teaser. This Wednesday (03), the South Korean girl group's YouTube channel dedicated to the Japanese public received a sample of what to expect from the new album, with a mystical and fairy-like vibe.

The group's previous work was also dedicated to the Japanese market. “Celebrate”, from 2022, was very successful and yielded hits like “Doughnut”, for the TWICE girls, Jihyo, Dahyun, Sana, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Mina, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.

Dive

In December 2023, TWICE announced the production of their fifth album for the Japanese market. In the announcement, it was stated that the new album would be released in the summer of 2024 in the northern hemisphere.

At the beginning of May 2024, the new studio album was given the name “Dive” and a release date of July 17th. The album will feature ten new tracks.

“Dive” will have 14 different versions, offering more products in its sale: Limited A, Limited B, Regular, Fanclub, nine individual solo jacket and 7th Anniversary Collection Box.
