Understand the special composition of the Princess of Wales's look

Kate Middleton's public return at Trooping the Color 2024 was marked by a dress that had already been worn on another special occasion in royal history. The Princess of Wales attended the event with a beautiful and well-constructed look.

The highlight of Kate's look is the dress: a white Jenny Packham with black details. The dress was previously worn by the princess at another royal event: the weekend of King Charles' coronation, in May 2022.

The composition of the look worn by the princess included a white hat, from the brand Philip Treacy, a regimental brooch from the Irish guard and a black and white scarf at the collar of the dress, a bag from the brand Mulberry and pumps from the brand Jimmy Choo.

The dress is from the Jenny Packham brand, already worn by Kate on other occasions, and which has already made several personalized looks for the princess. The white dress represents a very special meaning for both royalty and the princess, the English newspaper “The Telegraph UK” quotes: “worn for the last time at such an important moment for the king, it is a nod of support and honor to the monarch on your official birthday.”

Public appearance

The look worn by Kate Middleton was also adorned with a pair of pearl earrings from the English jewelry brand Cassandra Goad, which was also used on several occasions, such as at the christening of her son in 2008, Prince Louis.

This was the Princess of Wales's first public appearance following the news of her diagnosis, she appeared at Buckingham Palace accompanied by her three children, Prince George, who is ten years old, Princess Charlotte, who is nine, and Prince Louis, the youngest, six years old, and her husband, Prince Charles.
