Usher reveals why Justin Bieber turned down an invitation to the Super Bowl
Usher received numerous accolades across the internet for his performance at the 2024 Super Bowl. There were around 123.7 million viewers worldwide.
The short show had special appearances such as: Lil Jon, Alicia Keys, HER, Ludacris and Will.i.am. However, the public missed Justin Bieber. As both are long-time partners, it was estimated that Justin would also make a special appearance in the presentation. However, this expectation was not confirmed.

Post championship
At the end of the Super Bowl, speculation began as to why Justin hadn't taken the stage alongside Usher. To date, Usher did not make any statement regarding the matter, but rapper Lil Jon gave statements to the press, claiming that Justin was invited to participate, but the singer denied the invitation. Lil comments that Justin is probably not yet ready to return to the stage, as the pop singer has not performed since 2022 – when he interrupted his tour due to a health problem that resulted in paralysis of part of his face. Despite not participating in the show with Usher, Justin was in the audience to support and honor his friend, alongside his wife Hailey, and the couple's friend, Kendall Jenner.

The partnership of millions
Rapper Usher is known not only for his long list of musical hits, but also for sponsoring Justin Bieber, when the singer was just 13 years old, and his small success at the time; it was with his cover videos on YouTube and MySpace. After Usher hired Justin, he guided, advised and invested in his videos and performances. Thanks to Rapper, Justin grew more and more in the world of music, becoming the great artist we know today.
