Usher to headline Super Bowl 2024

Singer Usher will headline the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show. The announcement was made on Sunday morning (24) on the NFL sports league's social media.

In a video, the singer receives the news of the invitation from Kim Kardashian, former NFL player and coach Deion Sanders, and former athlete Marshaw Lynch.

This will not be Usher's first appearance at the Super Bowl. In 2011, the singer performed alongside the Black Eyed Peas. The event is scheduled for February 11, 2024 and will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

Halftime show

The Super Bowl musical show is the hallmark of the event. During the halftime show, several artists perform. Artists and bands such as Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5 and Coldplay have performed at the halftime show.

Last year, the performance was in the hands of Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blidge, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem, who gave a super rap performance. This year, the performance was in the hands of singer Rihanna, who took part in the event singing and dancing to her greatest hits, including a remix of one of her songs with a Brazilian funk rhythm.

The Super Bowl is the final game of the National Football League (NFL) American football championship, which takes place every year in the United States. During halftime, several established artists from the industry perform musical performances for the audience. The Super Bowl is televised and has the largest audience of any sporting event in the entire country.
