Wagner Moura shines in new trailer for “Civil War”

New trailer for the film “Civil War”, starring Wagner Moura, arrived on social media this Tuesday (20). The action film by director Alex Garland, in partnership with the production company A24, also stars Kirsten Dunst, Nick Offerman, Jesse Plemons and Cailee Spaeny, who was recently in the hit “Priscilla”, by Sofia Coppola.

The film cost production company A24 US$50 million, making it the most expensive title they have produced to date. Several A24 features have already moved Hollywood, such as: “Everything in Every Place at Once”, “The Whale” and “The Iron Claw“. The person responsible for the script and direction, Alex Garland is already known for “Ex Machina – Artificial Instinct” (2014), “Annihilation” (2018) “Men: Faces of Fear” (2022).

Wagner international

Another international endeavor by Moura was the series “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, based on the 2005 film, which starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the time. The series will be a little different from the film, for example, in the series, the protagonist duo is a couple “arranged” by a spy agency and not a real couple, as in Pitt and Jolie's version. Moura's character is married to Parker Posey, and he appears in the fourth episode of the series, which is now available on Prime Video.
