What Did He Say About the LGBT Universe?

Actor Reynaldo Gianecchini has already declared himself pansexual, that is, he considers himself a person who is attracted to individuals of all sexual orientations and genders. In an appearance on the program “Conversa com Bial”, shown last Tuesday (11), he divided opinions after a statement about the LGTQIAP+ group.

“I've always been very sympathetic, and I've said myself that my sexuality is fluid, I circulate very well there, but I've never gone into it, in that sense, I never went to gay bars, nightclubs. And not for nothing, maybe I didn't see myself there, written on my forehead, 'I'm gay', I always thought I was broad and then I thought it was strange to be in a place where everyone was showing their foreheads..”, revealed the actor during his participation in the program.

The part that Reynaldo says he never frequented gay bars and clubs frequently generated criticism from some viewers, who understood the message as coming from a person who is part of the LGTQIAP+ group and refuses to accept this fact. He received several negative messages on his social networks and realized the harmful impact of his speech. Some of these comments demonstrated shame, anger and disappointment with the artist. Other followers considered the speech a disservice and questioned Gianecchini about whether he was still living in the 90s.

In the midst of this buzz, Reynaldo spoke out through a video that was published on his social networks and according to him, critics did not understand the message he wanted to convey.

The actor stated that he would never say that he is not part of the LGBTQIAP+ community and has always positioned himself as at least sympathetic to the cause. Reynaldo reinforced that it is part of one of the letters of the acronym and has exposed this side of it. He explained that what he wanted to say was that he had difficulty entering the gay community, with those characteristics and identities. He also reinforced that his report reinforced his fragility in not being a regular in this community out of fear.
