Meaning of urine color

  • Healthy urine is light yellow of color. That means you are drinking enough water and your body is well hydrated. Is it dark yellow? Then you need to drink more.
  • Is the urine orange or caramel colored? Then you may be taking medication that is rich in B2? If not, it may be advisable to consult a doctor, because orange urine can indicate a problem with your liver or gallbladder.
  • Is the urine earlier pink or redand you have not eaten beetroot, rhubarb, blueberries or other products that could cause the color change? Then you may have blood in your urine, which indicates a possible kidney infection, urinary tract infection or prostate disorder.

Urine: cloudy or clear
