Will.i.am and Britney Spears release emotional song together after legal battle

Last Monday (17), singer Will.i.am, member of the Black Eyed Peas, used the Twitter to announce the release of his new song, titled “Mind Your Business”. The track marks the rapper's third collaboration with pop princess Britney Spears and is set to hit digital platforms next Friday (21).

The song will be Britney's first work after she won the legal battle to control her own finances. On social media, Will does not hide his excitement about working with the singer again and recently stated in a post that he feels anxious and has the feeling that it is his first release.

Other Partnerships

The singers first worked together in 2011, when Will featured on the track “Big Fat Bass”which was part of the album “Femme Fatale” by Britney. The song reached number 31 on South Korea's international singles chart, and also appeared for a week at number 18 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Digital Songs. In 2013, it was her turn to participate in one of the singer's works and together they released the hit “Scream & Shout”, which was part of Will's fourth studio album, titled “Willpower”. The song was part of the list of singles with the highest number of downloads in the world.

The Singers

With over 25 years of career, Will is also a DJ, rapper and actor. As a music producer he has worked with big names such as Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and Rihanna. Britney began her career when she was still a teenager and her resume includes hits such as “Baby One More Time” and “Born To Make You Happy”.

It is worth remembering that this is Britney's second work announced this month. On July 11, the singer herself announced on her Twitter the release of her autobiography called “The Woman in Me”. The book is scheduled to be released on October 24th.
