Will Smith Says Doing Sex Scenes Is the Worst Part of His Career

Will Smith, 53, confessed that doing sex scenes is the worst part of an actor's career. He also recalled a time when he played a prank on his wife, Jada, leaving the awkward situation involving two parties 'tense' in the same situation: sex scene and the religious grandmother of the rapper.

These revelations by Will were made to The Graham Norton Show, in a teaser for the episode that will air today, Friday (26).

“Sex scenes are the worst part of acting – when you watch them [às cenas] in a movie there is music and wine, but on the set there is a big guy holding the microphone, chewing and watching you”, he explains.

It's even a kind of meme to see an embarrassing situation like this, watching a sex scene in a family movie, when everyone is a little embarrassed and doesn't know where to look. Will thought it would be funny to play a prank on his grandmother and his wife, who is also an actress.

“She [Jada] I was going to meet my family for the first time. I was raised in a very religious home, my grandmother Gigi is all Jesus”, he begins to explain. Then, as if he had downloaded the character Will from 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' in it: “She [avó Gigi] I didn't know who Jada was, so I put on a movie of her and realized that when Jada arrived, my grandmother would be watching the sex scene.”

Rightfully angry, Jada pulled Will aside and asked him why he did it. He replied, “I promise it's funny, maybe not now, but one day we'll laugh a lot about it.”, he assured, however, he showed that until now he remains wrong about this prediction. “We've been together for 27 years and she literally hasn't laughed once!”

Will and actress Jada Pinkett Smith married in 1997 and had two children: Jaden, 23, and Willow, 21.

Sex in movies doesn't appeal to Will that much, but there was a time in his life when he felt sick from having so much sex. He recently revealed that at the age of 16 he decided to have a lot of sex to try to mend his broken heart.I had sex with many women, and it was so unpleasant to the core of my being that I developed a psychosomatic reaction to having an orgasm.”, he recalls, explaining that he has even choked and vomited in some of these situations.
