Willow Smith anxiety disorder, Willow Smith had to deal with an anxiety disorder as a child. She did not feel taken seriously by her mother Jada Pinkett Smith, she says in Red Table Talk, the talk show that Willow makes with her mother and grandmother.

In the latest episode of the talk show, Smith spoke with model Ireland Baldwin about growing up with famous parents. Baldwin is the daughter of actors Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin.

During the conversation, the two talked about mental health. Smith says she had a hard time growing up because her mother didn’t understand the anxiety disorder.

“My mother went through so much in her youth, for example friends who died of drug addiction or gun violence, and because of that my problem seemed small.
