A night full of many emotions marked the end of the 33rd edition of Camarote Nº1. Considered one of the best parties of Carnival in Rio, the event followed its tradition of celebrating samba icons, in a special tribute dedicated to samba dancers Selminha Sorriso, flag bearer of Beija-Flor who celebrates 35 years on the avenue in 2024, and Mayara Lima, drum queen of Paraíso do Tuiuti, who went viral on the internet for her samba no pé. The moment was led by Dudu Nobre, who dedicated the song “Quem é Ela” to the honorees.
