With defeat to Milan, Carlo Ancelotti is questioned by the Real Madrid board

According to sources from the Spanish newspaper Marca, a dinner was held between the club's president, Florentino Pérez, and the Italian coach following the negative result against Milan. The meeting aimed to 'fend off the crisis' and show confidence in Ancelotti's work.

Even with a worrying moment, the Spanish management does not intend to terminate the coach, who has a contract with the club until June 2026, renewed in December 2023.

Medical problems for the club

Real Madrid, once known as 'Galásticos', has suffered several absences due to injuries in the current season. Important members of the squad, such as defender Alaba, goalkeeper Courtois and full-back Carvajal are in the club's medical department. And, making the situation worse, midfielder Tchouameni suffered a sprained left ankle in the game against Milan and is expected to be absent for at least 1 month.
