“Best athlete we’ve ever seen”

Paul Pierce spoke on The Dan Le Batard Show, last Thursday, 22nd, that LeBron James and the “best athlete we've ever seen”. Despite the rivalry from his NBA days, the formerBoston Celtics recognized King's greatness.

The Truth, as it was called, compared the star of Los Angeles Lakers with the NFL's all-time greatest, Tom Brady.

“Looking at a guy at 39 years old, LeBron is probably the best athlete we've ever seen. We've never seen anyone play at this level, at this age. You could say Brady, who played well into his 40s, but he didn't have to run the court, jump, dunk, score”, he stated.

The former All-Star spoke a little more about Bron's longevity. “It's really satisfying to watch, man. I think we as fans have to take advantage of this because we don't know how many more years LeBron will play at this level. Let me tell you something, when I was around 34 years old, I woke up and didn’t know if I was going to be able to play or not.”said Paul.

In the current season, the league's top scorer has 24.8 points, 7.8 assists, 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. With Anthony DavisLeBron leads the Lakers to a record of 30 wins and 27 losses.
