Britney Spears reports physical and psychological abuse committed by her father

Britney Spears gave more details about the mistreatment she suffered from her father during the period she was under his guardianship, in a now-deleted post on her Instagram. According to the singer, her body was exposed to nurses, during forced baths, for four months. Britney also reported periods in which her father prohibited her from leaving her room.

“I didn’t do anything wrong! Why did you and the family go along with this and treat me like a damn dog? What makes you so special? What makes your other daughters so special that you treated me like I was less than a dog?”wrote the Pop star.

In the post, Britney said she prayed that her father would have at least five minutes of the pain she felt for four months, “I pray you burn in hell,” she concluded.

The singer also reported that her father used to make comments about her appearance, and create situations to make her feel embarrassed, with the aim of leaving her with low self-esteem.

“I used to feel beautiful when I was calm, content and natural. Then I felt chaotic, and I felt so alive in those crazy days. But in the conservatorship, I felt like nothing. I was sad, I looked blank in photo shoots, and I had to follow directions. [de Jamie]”, the artist began. “My father always told me I was fat. So I never felt good enough or pretty enough. […] I hope that one day I will find the essence of feeling beautiful again. My father worked hard to make me always feel the opposite of that. He played low, he was the lowest to make me feel ugly”revealed Britney.

The singer revealed that her father would have compared her body to that of her boyfriend, probably Sam Asghari, saying that he would have the perfect body, and that she would need to improve hers, according to her, her family always put her down so that they would look better than her.

According to Britney, her father had a habit of choosing dancers who were thinner than her to dance in his shows, just so that she would look fat, and consequently become weaker.
