Chlöe Bailey posts cover of Minnie Riperton's hit 'Lovin you'

Chlöe Bailey, this Monday (24), posted the first video of the year on her Instagram, singing a cover song. The choice was a classic: “Lovin you” by Minnie Riperton. The song was released in 1975 and topped the Bilbord hot 100 of the same year. The singer's fans were amazed by Chloe's performance and voice range.

Last year (2021) the singer had already presented other covers on her Instagram, such as “Pick up your felling” by Jazmine Sullivan,”Love on the brain” by Rihanna,”Be careful with me” of Cardi B and “Earned it” by The Weeknd, among others.

Chlöe Bailey, just 23 years old, is one of the names shining in the music of the new generation. For those who don't know, the singer was discovered doing covers on YouTube with her sister Halle, and the two form the duo Chloe x Halle. They are signed to Beyoncé's label, Parkwook entertainment.

Chlöe is also an actress, much like her sister. She has already appeared in some films, but it was in the series Grown-ish that she became best known in her career. Your sister will be Ariel in the live action of “Little Mermaid”, still without a release date. The sisters have already been nominated for a Grammy Award in 2019 in two categories, one of them Best New Artist.

Chlöe released her first solo single “Have mercy” last year, even winning a music video. But she still continues to work with her sister, Halle Bailey, who also produced work alongside the duo. Check out the clip:
