Lady Gaga announces the launch of the “Chromatica Ball Tour” on streaming

More than a year after the closure of the “Chromatica Ball Tour“, the album tour”Chromatica“, by Lady Gaga, the singer announced that the DVD with the official recording of the show will be made available on the streaming platform HBO Max.

According to Lady Gaga, on her social media, the presentation will be made available in full, starting on May 25th. In the post, she celebrated the launch and seemed happy to revisit the project that she started during the pandemic. “I am so excited that we can finally share the film 'Chromatica Ball' with the world. This film chronicles a time of immense creativity… the fashion, the dance, the music. Revisiting the tour leaves me speechless at how we met – you all showed up for the music, for the art in such a grand way, and with a level of enthusiasm and freedom that I will never forget.”he wrote. The tour

The “Chromatica Ball Tour” was Lady Gaga's fifth world tour, and came from the album “Chromatica“, 2020. The shows were scheduled for 2021 but, due to the pandemic, they had to be postponed. The album marked the singer's return to pop, since, since 2013, she had not released an album of the genre. In 2015, she recorded a Jazz album with Tony Bennety, entitled “Cheek to Cheek”, and in 2016, she released “Joanne”, with tracks exclusively focused on country.

The presentation, which lasts two hours, features songs from the album but also other hits from his career, such as the classic “Bad Romance“. The song is also present “Shallow”, which the singer recorded with Bradley Cooper, for the film “A Star Is Born”, from 2018.

However, before it began touring the world, the tour faced some controversy. The initial idea was to hold the shows in arenas, but as the artist was involved in other projects, such as the film “Casa Gucci” and the album “Love for Sale”, both in 2021, her team decided to shorten the concert season and hold them in stadiums, thus gaining more time. In total, the tour lasted only 3 months, starting on July 17, 2022, in Düsseldorf, Germany, and ending on September 17, 2022, in Miami Gardens, United States. She passed through countries in North America, Europe and Asia.

Now, fans will be able to watch the full show on HBO Max on May 25th.
