Pedrinho files lawsuit against São Paulo after dismissal

The player Pedrinhowho played as a striker for the São Paulo, was fired after being accused of assault by his ex-girlfriend. Now, he is filing a lawsuit against the team for termination of his contract, and dismissal for cause. Pedrinho had been away since March, when his ex Amanda Nunes revealed prints in which he threatened her with death.

In the messages, the player even said: “If you see me on the way, get lost you little bitch. You pay like a kitten there with my cell phone, with the things I gave you, you quenguinha. I’ll listen to my mother, if not I’ll kill you.” writes the player in conversation.

The case remains under court secrecy in the 68th Labor Court of São Paulo, where Amanda registered a bulletin that was opened for investigation of the case. During this period of investigations, the player continued to attend the club, but with training at alternative times.

With the leak of the conversation prints between the two, São Paulo removed the player and terminated the employment contract, while the athlete’s lawyers stated that the team did not wait for the completion of the entire judicial process, only then to take the final decision.

After São Paulo’s attitude, Pedrinho manifested himself on his social networks saying that he was the victim of the situation and “the contractual termination was based on a criminal selective leak of old and edited messages, which disobeyed the existing judicial measure in my favor“, said the player.

São Paulo even hired a relationship specialist to analyze the case, which confirmed that it was a toxic relationship with several episodes of aggression on both sides. Therefore, they decided to fire Pedrinho for good and said they had not made any value judgments in the case.

The team was approached and stated that they had not received any notification of the process and that they would not speak about it.
