Relatives refuse to accommodate the woman linked to the child porn case

Relatives of Tiona Moodley, the second accused in the case of child pornography, refused to accept.

This was revealed by his lawyer Adv Kriel Cronje at the Randburg Magistrate Court on Tuesday during his bail request.

“They both accused one (Moodley's boyfriend, Darren Wilken) and two lived together on the rental property. The accused's arrest became a media circus. The effect was that the owner with immediate effect ended the lease agreement.

“With then we organized that she will remain with family members, but they have been concerned about several factors, but they can't allow her to stay there if their address is mentioned in court. We then organized a third family member, ”said Cronje.

Moodley and Wilken are applying for bail.

More than 10 million children's porn images were found on hard drives on their properties rented in Midrand, Johannesburg. Money laundering was added to the accusations after a sum of money was found on the property.

The case was postponed to February 3 to verify addresses and the director of the public prosecution to distribute a certificate confirming the offense of Annex 5.
