Spider-Man actor Tom Holland mental health – Tom Holland will not be on social media in the near future. The 26-year-old Spider-Man actor has taken a break to monitor his mental health, he explains in a video on Instagram.
“I took a social media break for my mental health because I find Instagram and Twitter too overstimulating and overwhelming,” Holland tells his 67.7 million followers.
“I get into a downward spiral when I read things about myself online and that is very harmful to my mental state. That’s why I decided to take a step back and uninstall the app.”

Holland made the video mainly to promote the platform stem4, which helps teenagers with their mental health with apps, among other things. “There is still a stigma on talking about mental health,” says the actor. “We shouldn’t be ashamed of it, although I know this is easier said than done.” (SpiderMan actor Tom Holland)
