The Elder Scrolls Online free on the Epic Games Store
The new wave of free games has arrived on the Epic Games Store, with the highlight being The Elder Scrolls Onlinethe MMO from Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios.
Unlike World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV, The Elder Scrolls Online does not require a subscription to play, but those who choose to pay will enjoy a host of additional benefits, such as increased experience and full access to DLC packs.
According to the MMO’s description on the Epic Games Store, there are currently over 22 million people playing it.
The other game of the week is Murder by Numbers, by Mediatonic. It puts you in the shoes of an actress named Honor Mizrahi, star of a TV detective show who finds herself on a streak of bad luck after her boss is found dead just minutes after firing her, and it’s up to her to unravel this mystery and clear her name.
Both games can be claimed until July 27th at 12:00 pm PDT.
