Mario and Luigi are ready for a new epic adventure in Mario & Luigi: Brotherhoodscheduled for release on Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2024. After years of waiting, the mustachioed brothers return in an RPG full of action and humor, taking players to explore the island ship Shipshape Island and the vast world of Concordia.

This time, the adventure takes place in a unique setting – part island, part ship – where Mario and Luigi will explore diverse environments, from tropical forests to bustling cities. During their journey, they will meet new friends and familiar faces from the Mushroom Kingdom, such as Princess Peach and Bowser.

Game Mechanics

The gameplay of Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood promises a dynamic experience with the return of the iconic Bros. Moves and Bros. Attacks. These brothers' combined abilities are essential for overcoming obstacles and defeating enemies. The turn-based combat system gains a new layer of strategy with the possibility of using these powerful attacks.

Development and Expectations

Announced during the Nintendo Direct in June 2024, Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood is the first original game in the series since Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, launched more than nine years ago. This new title also marks the first time that the series arrives on the Nintendo Switch, and will be the first game with the brothers' new voice actor, Kevin Afghani, after Charles Martinet's retirement.
