Cuiabá coach Petit was honest about the team's performance in the Copa Sudamericana playoffs against Palestino from Chile; check it out

Smallcoach of the Cuiabaopened the game after the elimination of the team South American Cup. After the 1-1 draw in the first leg against Palestinian-CHIDourado lost 1-2 in the second leg, which took place at Arena Pantanal. According to the Portuguese commander, one specific detail made the difference in the match.

“I think it was due to a lack of efficiency (the elimination), both in the first and second half. They had three chances and managed to score two goals. We created clear chances, we had 25 shots on goal and we couldn't score.”Petit explained at the press conference.

Still, the coach was pleased with the squad's ability to build on the field: “We would be more worried if we couldn’t create the clear opportunities we’ve had. Now, as a coaching staff, we have to find a balance, we can’t score, but we can’t concede either.”
