América-MG announces removal of Nino Paraíba

Hours before entering the field for the fifth round of the Brazilian Championship, the America-MG announced the preventive removal of Nino Paraíba. In prints, the Coelho sideline was cited in the investigation by the Goiás Public Prosecutor’s Office in Operation Penalty Maximum II, about a betting scheme in games from Series A and B of the Brazilian Championship.

According to information from the “GE” website, two other athletes from the Minas Gerais team are mentioned in conversations with bettors in the messages that were attached to the MP-GO complaint: the midfielder Matheusinho and the attacker Dada BelmonteformerGoias.

Bragantino x América-MG is one of the Brasileirão 2023 clashes valid for the fifth round, which will take place this Wednesday, 10. The ball will roll from 7 pm (Brasília time) and will have the Nabi Abi Chedid stadium (Nabizão) as stage of the confrontation, where Massa Bruta assumes the position of principal.
